If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll be more than aware that I’ve been suffering through a major kitchen renovation for the past nine weeks. Two weeks was doable. Five weeks was challenging. By eight weeks, it was a full-on nightmare! And then it was a delayed another week… But I survived, and now have a new lovely, white, pristine kitchen to boot.
From a glass half full perspective, I even became a better cook. Being forced to live without a kitchen also forced me to become more creative with my recipes, ingredients and appliances. I also used a slow cooker for the first time – and boy, what a discovery!
